Textile Trade Day
The latest thematic business event of CBTC, the Textile Trade Day was a real success on 18th of September with the professional co-operation of Hungarian Society of Textile Technology and Science (TMTE). More than 100 visitors attended the event, 26 company representatives arrived from Prague by bus. Focus of the professional forum was the status and trends of the CEE sector. CBTC asked Gergely Szilágyi on the behalf of PMR Market Research Company to lead the event. After the presentations the visitors could negotiate in person with the representatives of Chinese companies about future co-operations.
Secretary General of TMTE, Ecker Gabriella confirmed that Hungarian manufacturing has strong demand for quality raw materials. That is why TMTE intends to co-operate in several more textile-specific events with CBTC in the future.
CEE professional delegation in China
CBTC organized a professional CEE business delegation to China’s Zhejiang province last month. One of the main agendas of the professional visit was to promote CBTC’s next event in December and to measure the demand and search for potential exhibitors at the same time. The eight-member delegation consisted of Hungarian and Prague businessmen and the commissioners of CBTC. They visited the cities of Tongxiang, Huzhou and Xinchang in 4 days. Besides meeting to the leaders of the cities, the delegation participated in businessmen meetings to negotiate about future co-operations and they also attended to several factory visits.
Celje Trade Fair
CBTC had its own exhibitor booth in MOS Celje International Trade Fair in Slovenia. CBTC’s booth, placed on a crowded spot of the main pavilion, attracted great interest. Focus of the exhibition was automotive, machinery, food, electronics, renewable energy and construction. During its introduction, CBTC emphasised the new business potentials because of Croatia’s current entry to the EU. A significant milestone of networking was the new co-operation with Croatian Chamber of Industry and Handicraft.
